Thank you for three years

The most-liked post on the bakery's account is not a product photo. It is a thank-you note, written to the neighbourhood after the shop's third anniversary.
Two things happened that week. The third anniversary, which the community turned out for. And something that happened to the shop's Google business page, which the team did not detail beyond thanking everyone for the help they gave in sorting it out. The response, in their words, was overwhelming — from each and every one of you.
Maraming salamat po, the post says: thank you very much. And then, at the end: thank you for showing up for us.
Three years earlier the shop had opened in a unit on Fan Tan Alley. Today the Google listing carries 531 reviews and a 5.0 rating, and part of what comes through the till goes to the Zoe Children's Home Foundation, supporting children in the Philippines who cannot afford school supplies.
